BUXUS SEMPERVIRENS ENGLISH BOX HEDGE

Cultivated since Julius Caesar, can live for centuries even becoming a tree, yellow even wood grain popular with carvers. Low hedges, borders, topiary. Hardy, tolerate most conditions but with global warming coming under attack by buxus blight where leaves develop brown lesions & can even fall off leaving a naked plant. Avoid overhead watering & thankfully a new spray on the market from Kiwicare called Blight Buster. Req good drainage but tolerate any av garden conditions. Feed reg for better colour/faster growth, trim to shape. Recommended plant 3, 4, or 5 plants per metre. Pic indicative only.
