SHORT GREEN MONDO GRASS OPHIOPOGON NANA

Not actually a grass but member of the lily family. Very useful between cobble stones & perhaps (small) lawns u then dont need to mow. Tough 3cm leaves that can be walked on & ea of these dividable PB3 bags can sow up to 1m square of ground – I know coz I showed a local school how to plant individual divided sprouts like dolls hair into their playground soil around swings etc……

Satisfyingly fast thickening groundcover once set in the ground. Can be sprayed with weak Glyphosate spray to control broadleaf weeds among them. I have successfully tested that once a season but not sure how many times plants wud tolerate it……

Amazing cobalt blue 1cm round beadlike seeds appear among the foliage after insignificant white summer flowers.
