GUAVAS YELLOW and RED WOOD PIGEON FOOD

Reds are small fruit just the right size for wood pigeons to scoff – & they do! If pigeons in yr area they will find yr tree – which in the red is more of a large round shrub of 3-4m. Red fruit are astringent until ripe then wonderful raw – very tangy jelly or jam too. Leaves go red in colder winter time.

Also we have large yellow guavas – not so useful for wood pigeons coz they a big fruit may or may not be swallowed easily. I have been saving seed from a 4.5cm fruited yellow & most offspring are giving the large fruit too. The yellow plant more of a lovely small tree of 4-5m with clean grey bar

So – choice of yellow or red at 1m plus & $15, – we have so many grown from seed we can keep them cheap to encourage u to plant all over the place for the birds – & the possums – they also love them if around……..
